What is a professional mermaid?

Professional mermaids are specialty entertainers who usually receive freediving training to perform in spandex, neoprene, or silicon mermaid tails. To perform for aquatic centers and aquariums, mermaids are required to have CPR and SCUBA certifications.

What kind of events can I book a mermaid appearance for?

Any pool party, house warming, restaurant opening, gallery opening, resort event, convention, or yacht excursion can be made more magical with a mermaid appearance. Annalise is always willing to work with you to create the perfect mermaid experience. Mermaiding is also perfect for television and film, living art modeling, and performance art.
 

ARE THERE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EVENT SIZES?

Not at all, we can do birthday parties for groups of just a few children, or larger events for hundreds of attendees.

How far out in advance should I book a mermaid?

Dates do fill up sometimes months in advance, so if you are thinking of a potential date don’t hesitate to submit a booking request.

Are there venue requirements for a mermaid appearance?

Not at all!

While a venue with a pool or fountain make for great mermaiding locations, Annalise has a variety of set equipment on hand to create a mermaid grotto in any kind of space, no water required. When making a booking inquiry, please let us know the approximate size and dimensions of your venue, as well as any stairs, elevators, and other features of the space that may limit mermaid mobility so we can create the best mermaid grotto set for your event.
